Welcome to 2013!

This year I hope to accomplish a lot! I want to get our family blog off and running (ok, so maybe just running since it was already off)! There are so many exciting events that are going to happen this year.

Jon and Colton will be graduating from high school this year. The sad part is that they will be graduating from different high schools that are three hours apart on the same day and time as each other. So, we will have to split the forces to make sure that all bases are covered. The boys are also traveling to the Bahamas for their senior trip. (Nice… my senior trip was to California to watch a Dodgers game…lol)

Kollin’s hand is healing nicely. He broke his hand a few weeks ago during a basketball game. At first, the doctors were saying he would need surgery to pin the bones into place. However, once the doctors examined it after about a week, they said that the hand would heal without the surgery! PTL!

Naythan, well he is just Naythan. I will say that he worked very hard this last semester as a freshman and pulled out A’s, B’s, and one C. Thinking about where he started from (D’s and F’s) and all he went through (according to him his life was over because he had no electronics for an ENTIRE semester) makes me realize how much dedication one can have when one wants to!

Mady is trying out for a club softball team. She has her second try out coming up here shortly. I don’t know who is more nervous, me or her…

Lloyd and I will be rolling our way through 2013. I am sure that Lloyd will be strong throughout all the upcoming events. I, on the other hand, will shed a few tears, hug my boys a little closer, and prepare for the next phase in our mother/son relationship. I am not sure where this road will lead, but I am excited to travel it!

Overall I just pray for peace, wellness, and much happiness for all. I hope that with the closing of certain chapters, all will be able to move on (or move away) with the least amount of chaos as possible! I pray for blessing beyond measure for all! Let’s see where this road leads!
